This is not the update I'd thought I'd be writing. On Friday morning I woke up excited that I was going to the post office with all the mystery boxes, plus some of the commission rewards and other special orders, finally ready to ship to you. Then I received this photo from a relative who I'd already given their copy to....
Yes, that's right. I can't even spell my own name right. I'm so embarrassed. I'm so mad at myself. I spent 2 and a half years, 5% of my life, working to get this book done and out, and I do something so stupid. Some people have said to look at it with a sense of humor, and maybe someday I will, but those of you following this book for these past two years know how much I've put into it, so right now I can't. Reprinting it isn't an option, as that's too much time and money. I just can't send it out with this flaw, knowing every time you look at it on the shelf that this huge typo would be right in front of you, so I'm looking at solutions that will take only days. I looked at dustjackets, but that wasn't feasible, so I'm now looking at stickers. Here was my first attempt:
Not the prettiest. I'm waiting to hear from other vendors, ones who can get me something by early next week. I've kept you all waiting long enough, and this problem is entirely on me, so no delays beyond that. What do you think? Stickers or leave as is? Please leave a comment or message me directly.

Simone & Ajax Shipping Update

Hi, Everyone!
I held off a few days on this latest update until I had some solid news. The fulfillment service is, like many businesses these days, understaffed and running behind, but they're doing the best they can. I went out last week Monday and got them the last of the signed and doodled books. They now have all they need. I got a call from them yesterday saying they were hoping to begin packing this week and will start shipping next week, so you should be seeing the books soon. Much like with the printing and freight delays there's not much I can do to hurry things further on that end. I'll let you know as soon as I know more, but there is movement.
However, on a more positive note, I've been busy packing the mystery boxes, commissions, and book rewards for anyone who bought published art, like a cover or page.
I'll be packing up more today and sending them out Friday. Hoping to wrap up the mystery boxes today, with the commissions continuing to ship next week as I wrap them up. I'll be back soon with another update.
Lastly, Power Comics is running another Kickstarter for "The Masters" #2 and 3. I did work on these, inking Alan Weiss, Joe Staton, and the legendary Ramona Fradon. Please check out their campaign at:

Hi! Back with the promised update! Due to a last-minute shipping delay the Simone & Ajax books didn't arrive at the warehouse until this week Wednesday, so I was out there yesterday to start unpacking and signing and doodling in the books.
I'll be back out there today and next week to keep doing that, so that the fulfillment service can begin shipping later next week. Yes! Books should begin shipping within days! And last night I began setting up at home to pack the mystery box and commission rewards starting next week, too. Thanks so much for your patience. It's finally happening! I'll be back the end of the next week with an update on where things are.

Hi, Everyone!
Just a quick update. Expect more of these short updates in the coming weeks as the books start shipping. That's right! The book are about to start shipping! The books should be arriving at the fulfillment warehouse in the next few days. I am arranging days they can have me out there next week to start signing and doodling, so the books can be packed and sent soon after that.
I'll be packing the Mystery Box and sketch commissions myself as soon as I can get out there and get my hands on the books.
I'll send another update the end of next week to let you know how it's all going.
In the meantime, I'll be at the Baltimore Comic-Con this weekend, the 28th-30th, at table 209. As well, I'll be doing my last con of 2022, the Grand Rapids Comic-Con, November 11-13. Please come by and say hi! I'd love to meet more of you.
